But the case is a turd soup. Here's my answer to Zimmerman....
No one wanted you to keep following the kid. You were told to stop. You continued. The kid attacked you and you lost your upper hand. So as most cowards will do, you went to the gun to level the game. You won. But the kid was using your housing area to cross through because it was raining hard. One witness saw the young man using the sides of the buildings to keep dry. He was stopped where he was to wait out the heavy rain. He had a bag of candy and a drink. He was on his way home. You pushed a fight till it ended very bad. Was it always your plan to kill him? I don't think so. You just couldn't leave it alone. Maybe...maybe...Next time someone sees any kid in a housing area, ask first if they need help. Maybe a quick ride in the car would have been the answer?
Sure the kid wasn't a saint. But he was a kid.
